12s Raiders 15 def Tyntynder 7 

Awards: Hannah Gogoll – Royal Hotel; Taylah Pratt-Never – Canteen 

Match report: Tyntynder came out strongly. The Raiders stood strong and played well for a first game out for most of the players. Lots of really positive signs for a great season. 

14s Raiders 26 lost to Tyntynder 32

Awards: Remi Lake – Royal Hotel; Elektra Woolhouse – Barham Bakery 

Match report: The girls started the game very strongly in the first quarter, leading the shooting and passing. Tyntynder came home strongly taking the game by six goals. 

16s Raiders 51 def Tyntynder 19

Awards: Ella Lodge; Georgie Drysdale 

Match report: Big congratulations to all of you! So proud of how much sportsmanship was shown. 

18s Raiders 28 lost to Tyntynder 38

Awards: Ella Dejong; Kayla Drysdale 

Match report: The girls played well; defence were outstanding. Lost the ball in the attacking end. 

B Res Raiders 20 lost to Tyntynder 55

Awards: Hayley – Royal Hotel; Brittney – Barham Hotel 

Match report: Strong last quarter with excellent teamwork. Raiders held their ground against a strong team. Good teamwork in the goal circle by Brit and Georgia. Defence end worked extra hard at keeping Tyntynder from getting it in the other circle as they just didn’t miss. Mid court players had an extra workload against a tall team. 

B Grade Raiders 28 lost to Tyntynder 56

Awards: Tatum Boyd – Royal Hotel; Annie Stewart – Body Shop 

Match report: Very well played under the circumstances as it was the first time some had played together. Heaps to look forward to. 

A Grade Raiders 49 def Tyntynder 46

Awards: Kate Callow; Tlarnee Lake 

Match report: Raiders worked hard and fast from the first centre pass, taking many intercepts to allow the girls to be up by 10 goals at half time. Tlarnee Lake was on fire for the four quarters, both in scoring and movement on the court. Defence played a tight game with Kate Callow all hands and quick feet, taking many intercepts and forcing the ball out. Overall, the team worked as one, holding on tight for the win in the end.
