On Sunday, the Barham Koondrook Cricket Club celebrated its annual presentation day, including the town's best-kept secret. Brad Lake presented a unique award to his father, Eric Lake, who was honoured for his volunteer contributions by naming the northern end of the Koondrook Recreation Reserve as the Eric Lake End. With 55 years of playing on the ground and over 40 years of maintenance, the Koondrook Recreation Reserve is a second home to this Life Member.
