Bowls
Wakool Bowling Club: January 30, 2025

We were all back at home this week and Div 1 got out of jail while Div 3 had a monster performance. Div 1 hosted Kerang in a do or die match for both teams and it was only some last minute heroics that got us the points. Needing numbers to keep the season alive they pulled out the big guns and picked up 8 shots over the two ends to jump in front for the first time winning 23/17. This gave us a 2 shot win overall and up into second spot on the ladder. It is extremely close, but with some other results going our way, hopefully, this gives us a little buffer to stay in the final’s chase. This week we head to Leitchville who can be a danger team on their home track.
