Another week done and Div 3 keep powering ahead while Div 1 got a lesson. Div 1 headed over to Cohuna for another top 4 clash and got a lesson for not having enough bowls in the head. If we want to compete against the best we will need to be more consistent away from home. Guy’s team had a good battle for most of the day, there was only a couple of shots in it with 5 ends to go but unfortunately dropping a 5 ended any chance going down 12/23. Mainy’s team had the closest game of the day with the lead changing multiple times, a rough patch after smoko probably cost them the game, they fought back at the end just going down 19/20. Regan’s side continued their win big or lose big streak and this week it was the later. Every time they were holding a few shots the opposition pulled something out and took it off them. They ended up going down 12/29. With the ladder so even these results have big repercussions and we have dropped from top to fourth. This week we play Barham at home on Friday night and this game is extremely important if we want to play finals so let’s get it done.
