AFL Victoria School Football Youth Girls Competition hit the Kerang oval on Wednesday, May 19. Cohuna Secondary College, St Mary MacKillop College, Swan Hill College and Kerang Technical High School contested in a round robin format with a modified field size, 12 players on each team and two eight-minute halves per match. St Mary MacKillop College and Kerang Technical High School had enough girls for two teams while Cohuna Secondary College were two players shy of able to do the same. With a mixture of footy boots and sneakers across the teams, it was St Mary MacKillop College One winning the day.
