Junior Raiders Chasing 31

Murrabit Recreation Reserve hosted the final round cricket contest between Murrabit and the Raiders. Murrabit won the toss on Friday evening and sent the Raiders to bat. Eve Snowdon opened the bowling for Murrabit and struck early, sending Riley D’Silva to the pavilion for four runs (one-four). Eve captured another wicket, catching Ryder Laursen for three off a Cooper Hein delivery. Caleb Ralston didn’t get his feet warm and was dismissed for a golden duck, caught by Parker Bray off a Cooper Hein delivery. The Raiders were three for 10. Maddison Walle was the next wicket to fall, bowled by Mitchell Gilbert for four. Leo Ellison caught Eddie Puddick for four off a Zene McKerrow delivery. Thomas Walle was bowled by William Turner for nine. After 20 overs, the Raiders were six for 59, with Alexander Chisholm (3) and Archie McDonald (9) the not-out batsmen.
