Our social bowls agenda was interrupted last week by the Northern Carnival, where we contributed by hosting two sections of pairs, and supplying quite a few entrants in both the pairs and fours. A great pity that other Northern District clubs don’t support this event as it puts bowls in this area on the map, but to continue, needs expanded numbers.
