When we go along to the march to show our support toward the soldiers who fought for our country this Anzac Day, make sure you take the time to consider all they endured due to orders from our government at the time.
For the friends they lost, for the loved ones they left behind, not knowing if they would ever see them again, for the fear they lived with (and continue to live with) every day of their lives, and for the insurmountable bravery these young men and women were forced to show; be sure that you, your friends and family take the time to say “thank you” to them. It is the least we can do as Australians.
