In recent years, we have seen the resurgence of the vinyl record. For those of younger generations, the vinyl record is a music disc that resembles a black dinner plate with a small hole in the middle and is played on a device called a Record Player. Back in the ‘olden days,’ we used to change the tracks manually (tracks is another word for songs) by balancing a very fine needle that had to line up with a very faint groove in the record; this was how you would skip to the next song, a task you had to be especially careful with when it came to playing records.
