We received a ‘What Gets my Goat’ message a few editions back from someone who mentioned how annoying they find it when people talk while holding a drink to their lips, and how it infuriated the reader that people can’t say what they need to say and then have a drink. They suggested that they are perhaps trying to use the drinking vessel as a microphone. When I read this, I thought perhaps it could fall into the category of ‘table manners’, which is what prompted me to write about such things for this week’s C.Y.M.W.Y.E.
