On November 26, 1910, the Koondrook and Barham Bridge and Cohuna Advocate (page 4), reported that Agnes Rennes, proprietress of the Cohuna Hotel, gave a free house following the completion of a new bar. The new bar was reportedly one of the most up-to-date outside Bendigo, and “Instead of the ordinary finish of paint, graining was substituted, and shows great credit on the contractor, Mr Jorgenson.”
