Marty Hore was named in the 2022 Smithy’s VFL Team of the Year at the VFL and VFLW Awards held on September 12. 

The defender averaged 26.3 disposals, 7.6 marks, 10.6 rebound 50s, 1.1 tackles and 6.9 handballs from 18 games this season and was the only North Melbourne VFL player to be shortlisted.
