Living Life with an Attitude of Gratitude

Historians tell us that on March 24, 1820 a baby girl was born into the world, who later in life impacted millions of people in a remarkable way; her name was Fanny Crosby. I was at a conference recently and a speaker, Merv Jensen, reminded us of some of the details of the life of this amazing woman. A few months after birth, Fanny was struck down with blindness, a daunting challenge in life, but this young girl chose at an early age not to live a life of self-pity but to live life with an ‘attitude of gratitude’ despite her debilitating blindness. 

At the age of 8, Fanny wrote this little poem.
