Following the rain events of December and January that saw well over 200mm of rain fall across the district, Goulburn-Murray Water has increased releases from Kow Swamp from 1,500ML/day to 2,000ML/day to makea space for inflows from Bullock Creek and to lower the level of the swamp.

VicEmergency issued a riverine flood advice for Pyramid Creek downstream of Kow Swamp on Monday evening, advising that minor flood impacts are occurring along Pyramid Creek downstream of Kow Swamp. The releases are not expected to affect downstream landholders and are expected to reduce from Friday morning.
