COVID-19 vaccinations began being rolled out locally last week at Ochre Medical Centres in Barham and Cohuna. Doctors and staff at both clinics received the vaccination in what was the first phase of the rollout.
Ochre’s medical centres in Barham and Cohuna are offering the vaccination to residents who fit the current eligibility criteria. There are three phases of eligibility, with current vaccinations being given to those fitting Phase 1b.
Practice manager, Leanne Dickinson, said each practice has an allocation of just 100 doses of the vaccination each week and is asking the community to be patient while the vaccinations are rolled out.
Eligibility can be checked online at www.health.gov.au or contact Ochre Health for more information and to book an appointment.
