On a sad note, we say goodbye to one of our popular players who loved playing cards in Kevin Dove. 

14 players turned up for a game of cards, and it’s good to have new winners greeting the judge every week. We will start with the person who somehow plays a bit different, but for her first win against some other players in Sheila Joss with a score of 3,070. Barry Stacey with his hand that looks like he has just gone 15 rounds with a boxer to win the mens, scoring 3,300. 

The lucky door was awarded to Betty McLoughlan and the low mystery number went to Gwen Campbell and Laurel Stacey. 

Jackpot is still rising and the best score of the night was 8 no trumps (320).
