Firstly, we start with us Tigers beating the Silver Tails (Carlton) on Thursday night. Actually, I have watched the replay 3 times. No, we won’t win many games, and I don’t care, we have Carlton’s scalp .

Back to the game of cards which is supposed to be a friendly night out (maybe).  The ladies was won by Gwen Campbell with  score of 2840 closely followed by Betty McLoughlan just 30 behind. The friendly war drums are asking how does Gwen do it. 2 reasons are, Gwen is a very good player, and secondly she supports her partner by going another Bid. Example, if someone goes 6 hearts  worth 100 Gwen just  goes 7 hearts which is an extra 100 and at the end of the night, with good score this helps them to get over the line. So ladies and men, go the extra mile. 

John Walters easily won the men’s by nearly 800 with a huge Score of 3890. The Lucky door went to Mavis Prout, also Mavis got the mystery number with Barry Stacey. Mavis had a bad night but we have all had them, and that’s cards. Just remember card players, it’s a team game so help each other out please.
