CDH has gratefully received another donation from our Freemasons colleagues,  $4k from Freemason Foundation plus $1k from Cohuna Masonic Lodge. This donation will go towards sustaining our innovative workforce strategy. This grant will enable our support staff to pursue Diploma in nursing and Bachelor nursing degrees. So far ten staff have benefited from the previous grant. CDH is proud of our inaugural new grad enrolled nurses this year. We are keen to continue to create career opportunities for our local community, to continue to care for our community closer to home, to close the gender pay gap and build our future clinical workforce. We are also keen this year to continue to welcome undergraduate students completing clinical placement at CDH and will access this grant to support accommodation. This will help address some of the student poverty issues that often limit their experience in rural health care.
