Carols, Santa and lunch – it must be Christmas

Residents and visitors have several opportunities to get into the festive spirit with Christmas Carols, Santa visits and Christmas lunch being held across December.

On Saturday, December 14, the first of two events for Cohuna will take place with Christmas Carols in the Park presented by the Cohuna Combined Churches. There will be carols and kids’ activities. Head to the Gateway Visitor Centre for a 7pm start. BYO picnic rug and chairs.

Cohuna and District Progress Association will run Community Christmas Carols on Friday, December 20 from 6pm in Garden Park. Rachael Warren will lead the event.

The jolly man himself will be visiting the Gateway Visitor Centre between 10am and 1pm on Saturday, December 21. Call in with the kids and get their photo taken.

Cohuna Neighbourhood House will host its Christmas Day lunch from 12pm at the Memorial Hall. Everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. The luncheon is free, and you can RSVP to Cohuna Neighbourhood House on 5456 4666.
