Transport for NSW is planning to carry out essential maintenance work to Gonn Crossing Bridge at Murrabit from Monday, October 24 to Friday, November 25, 2022, weather permitting.
This work is to repair and replace key components of the lift span to ensure the bridge’s continued safe operation.
The bridge will remain open during the works, however, there will be 30-minute intermittent delays accessing the crossing.
Transport for NSW will avoid delays during peak traffic times, including school bus hours.
The lift span will be out of operation during the project. Oversize river vessels are advised to delay their journeys.
