Year 5 students from Barham Public School last week held a mini-Olympics for the whole school as part of their leadership passport. The day was a huge success with everyone having fun and participating with enthusiasm and encouragement of one another. The students competed in 15 events which included hockey, soccer, long jump, javelin, relays, volleyball, cycling, swimming, bowling, table tennis, rowing, equestrian, shooting and golf. After each event, points were tallied up and then placed on a large scoreboard. At the end of the day, countries were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals for each event.
