Where were you on July 21, 1969? For those of us who are a little older, you might remember an amazing event that took place that day 54 years ago. I remember I was one of the 270 students at the Lake Bolac High School in western Victoria seated in the school corridor looking at the black and white TV pictures of the live footage of the first humans, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, walking on the moon. We heard those iconic words from the lips of astronaut Neil Armstrong as he stepped onto the moon, “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind!”
