I find it fascinating to look up on a cloudless night and see a vast array of stars spread across the sky. Some astronomers estimate that there are more stars in the sky than grains of sand on planet earth! Recently (March 14th) many thousands of us on the eastern side of Australia were looking skywards not so much to look at the stars but to look towards the moon as a lunar eclipse was taking place.
