Moulamein Gathers

A healthy crowd had gathered in the “triangle” at Moulamein to celebrate Australia Day. The picturesque setting along the Edward River was abuzz with the cockies’ chorus and a flurry of volunteer action. The Moulamein RFS was all hands on deck, feeding the early risers, with compliments to the chefs as Murray River Council Mayor John Harvie enjoyed one of the best egg and bacon rolls he had had “in a long time”. The BBQ had indeed been in good hands with Moulamein scribe China Gibson, and expert in all things cooked meats, Brendan Main, serving up a scrumptious feed.
