On the banks of the Murray River, the community came together to celebrate the new year at the Koondrook Apex Park with the Koondrook CFA games, Border Flywheelers BBQ, Lions Club popcorn, and snow cones. The evening also featured a spinning wheel raffle. It was a family-friendly atmosphere, shaded by the Red Gums.
