On a brisk winter Wednesday morning, June 8, the over one-hundred-year-old Barham Bridge across the Murray River was raised to allow a 17-foot vessel ‘Black Shag Hubble’ to travel under on its way home to Echuca. The modern paddleboat powered by a diesel engine gave an appreciative toot to staff on the bridge as it passed under.
