Residents are urged to be vigilant after numerous reports of people loitering, accessing private properties and thefts from boats. 

Local Facebook community group users also report people entering private property, thefts from motor vehicles and strange vehicle movements outside their houses. 

People are encouraged to ensure their cars, sheds and homes are locked, and report incidents of crime to their respective state police.
